Nowadays, people become more and more dependent on social media such as Wechat and QQ in daily communication. Some people think that social media help people communicate because it is faster and more convenient. However, some others believe it is not helpful because it does not make people feel closer to each other.
I agree with the second opinion. First, social media can be dangerous sometimes because some bad people may know our information from it. Second, chatting through social media may make friends become strangers, because we do not meet each other like before. Third, most of the friends known from Wechat or QQ are not real friends. They actually do not care about us.
In conclusion, I strongly believe social media is having a bad effect on our daily communication, because it is dangerous, it stops face-to-face communication and most friends on it are unreal.
