Every day after school, they go to the Internet bar to play computer games until late at night without letting their parents and teachers know, and they often have a competition to see who win s more scores in each game. Let me take Tom for example. Tom used to like computer games very much and spent a lot of time on them. However, an incident changed him completely. Once, Tom didn’t go home until eleven o’clock at night. When he got home, he told his mother that he had been reviewing his lessons. Poor mom! She believed him and cooked two eggs for him. “Take more care of yourself as you work too hard, my dear son.” She said to Tom. But Tom’s face turned red at his mother’s praise. He realized that he was wrong, and he made up his mind to work hard at his lessons. Later, he did become a good student and was often praised by his teachers an d parents.

In the picture, two goats are tied to each other with a rope. They both see some grass in opposite directions, and try to pull to get their own food. They are unsuccessful, because the rope is too short to allow them to eat the food at the same time.
The picture is tr ying to tell us that cooperation is better than conflict. Both of the goats want their food at the same time, which has formed a conflict between them. However, if they decide to cooperate and eat the grass on the left first, and then the grass on the right, they will both be able to get their food. Thus things will turn into a “winwin” situation.
